Some sad news for fans of old school anime: the voice actor Makio Inoue, known for roles like Harlock in Captain Harlock and Ishikawa Goemon XIII in Lupine the Third , died at the age of 41.
According to one official declaration by Aooni Productions, the talent company that represents Inoue, the actor succumbed to a worsening of chronic angina pectoris in November 29, 2019.

Born in 1938, Inoue started his career from actor in 1954 and branched into the voice acting in 1960 'S. Starting with 1977, he was the second actor to play Ishikawa Goemon XIII in Lupine the Third , a role that continued until 2011. (Chikao Ōtsuka was the first actor to play Goemon, while Daisuke Namikawa currently expresses the character.)
Inoue was also the first actor to play Harlock in Captain Harlock , and his other roles include Mitsuru Hanagata in Star of the Giants and Riki Jinguuji in Brave Raideen .
