Nvidia back to Lucca Comics & Games 2019 , the famous event dedicated to comics, anime and videogames. It will be present at the fair within the Activision stand with dedicated gaming stations and several games to try. First of all Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ( here our review), the acclaimed first person shooter who integrates Nvidia Ansel and Nvidia Highlights, and which is also characterized by shadows that take advantage of real time ray tracing and Nvidia Adaptive Shading.
As announced this morning during the press conference held by Activision at the San Romano auditorium in Lucca, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare turns out to be able to offer an extraordinary realism. On the auditorium stage was Bernardo Antoniazzi, principal technical artist at Infinity Ward as well as developer, who personally took care of the game's graphics. Bernardo told the key points of the development of the title, focusing on the incredible realism of the title. Also present was Claudio Spinelli, author of the book Forze Speciali and ex-operator of the Italian special forces. Claudio testified that COD was able to faithfully reproduce the scenarios and tactics of war present in the game.
In June, Activision, Infinity Ward and Nvidia announced a partnership aimed at offering the most engaging and photorealistic gaming experience ever seen on PC. Modern Warfare has been enhanced with ray tracing shadows in both single and multiplayer modes (excluding Ground War and Spec Ops). Ray tracing, we recall, produces shadows that faithfully recreate what you see in real life with millimeter precision, even taking into account the weakening of the sharpness of the figures as they move away
