SKILL TREE – GENERAL CONCEPTS

Gaige's skill trees, despite being compartmentalized to focus on different aspects, tend to influence each other positively, often providing functionalities that come in handy regardless of the build.

The skill tree on the left, “Friends forever” , is strongly oriented to the enhancement of Deathtrap, with several targeted abilities that can make Gaige's assistant robot very strong, a huge amount of space is given to the survival of the character, there are skills that can provide health regeneration, regeneration and increased shield performance, additional mobility and damage resistance. It is generally used as a support branch for the various Gaige builds.

The central skill tree, “Problemini” , is strongly oriented towards elemental damages, Gaige is in fact a an extremely specialized character in electric elemental damage, but this branch supplies her with dominion in every field, making it even possible to play without equipping incendiary weapons.

The skill tree on the right, “Ordered chaos” , is the branch that governs the mechanics of the stacks anarchy, which can be accumulated for each kill obtained and for each emptied magazine. ACTION SKILLS: EVOCATE DEATHTRAP

Deathtrap has a duration of 60 seconds and an equally long-lived cooldown, can pass through the walls and has a good amount of health, which makes it quite resistant even at levels of higher difficulty, moreover not can be called in advance as the turrets Saber of Axton and is instantly destroyed whenever Gaige is defeated

THE MECHANICS OF ANARCHY

Once accumulated approximately 200 anarchy stack, your accuracy will be completely sacrificed , at the same time the damage you inflict will be unmatched, practically unmatched by any other build achievable with the other characters; but given that there are no other means to increase the weapon damage of Gaige (and only very limited means to increase the melee damage), you will be practically obliged to activate this mechanic , without which the Mechromante is an extremely limited character, who has no way of inflicting good damage, absolutely necessary in the most advanced stages of the game.

Furthermore, to compensate for the lost precision there is a special skill, “Close Enough” , located right at the beginning of the branch “Best Friends Forever” . Bringing this skill to level 5, the 50% of hits of Gaige affecting solid surfaces can automatically bounce against a nearby enemy , effectively making the loss of accuracy much less tragic, indeed negligible.

These two mechanics are therefore vital to the character, in any salsa we intend to play it . Furthermore, given the fact that many of Gaige's ultimate skill tree milestones have negligible benefits , it is a good idea to spend the six skill points necessary to mature this initial effect independently from the build you choose to go from that point forward.

ADVANCED MATHEMATICS – 5 POINTS

A skill that provides a reduction in the shield top-up delay of 14% and an increased shield charging speed of 12% for point spent.

is a decidedly negligible skill and it is better to spend points on another.

COLLECTED – 1 POINT

An extremely controversial skill , which most often should be deactivated, despite the apparent advantages.

In theory, this ability allows Deathtrap to restore 100% of the shield of an ally … in practice, Deathtrap will do it with anyone, including enemies : it happened that the used against various enemies with large shields, for example some variants of Stalker, often resulting in failure of objectives or even in the defeat of the team.

Most of the shields are completely negligible as a protection offered to Deathtrap, but some can be particularly powerful. Negligible skill in many cases, provides resistance to electrical damage and a good increase to the maximum charge of the shield. Useful again in several builds, such as the Legendary Anarchist .

ELECTRIC STORM – 5 POINTS

This ability is extremely controversial: if you kill an enemy with a critical hit or if it is Deathtrap to kill it, an electrical storm is created on the site, whose damage is affected from skill level

The electrical storm inflicts enormous damage, but in most cases no enemy will be hit by the effect. Therefore it is ignored by many builds, giving priority to other skills.

THE LOOK – 1 POINT

With this modifier Deathtrap becomes able to fire an incendiary laser beam, which inflicts good damage.

Actually, it is one of the worst modifiers of the robot and there are no real reasons to activate it, in fact the robot's fighting routine could give priority to this ability instead of using other more useful ones

THE STRENGTH OF FIVE GORILLAS – 5 POINTS

A 3% increase in the melee damage of Gaige and Deathtrap per point spent. This is a good skill, often activated to enhance the robot in the builds you rely on

ELECTRIC BURNS – 5 POINTS

A great skill if you want to upgrade this branch and take advantage of a build like the Catalyst or its legendary variant, but otherwise negligible. Each level of this ability provides a 4% chance that any applied electrical elemental effect can also cause an incendiary effect of the same intensity.

With this skill it is possible in certain builds to neglect incendiary weapons.

SHOCK AND AAAGGGGHHH – 1 POINT

A good modifier for gaige, with some reservations and warnings .

Whenever the character reloads the weapon, an electric explosion centered on itself inflicts damage in an enormous area of ​​effect, also unbalancing all the enemies involved.

An ability that increases Gaige's electrical damage, direct or induced by elemental effects .

This is a very good skill, but it is often activated only by necessity and left to be enhanced by a class mod.

BURSTS OUTSIDE – 5 POINTS

One of the most powerful skills of Gaige , scattered bangs allows you to accumulate homonymous stacks if you don't inflict weapon damage for a sufficiently long time; the first shot fired will then unload all the stacks, inflicting enormous slag damage

The damage of each stack is exclusively determined by the level of the character , while additional levels of the ability increase the probability of inflicting slag damage

The ability however has several bugs and prevents you from completing missions that require you to get specific kills, such as headshots, elemental or similar damage.

FALLO LUCCICARE – 1 POINT

The milestone at the end of this branch allows Deathtrap to intercept the elemental projectiles of gaige, charging itself with the same element and inflicting additional elemental damage with its melee attacks

The bonus damage to Deathtrap is nothing short of remarkable, being equal to double its basic melee damage ; this damage is not boosted by modifiers that increase Deathtrap's melee damage, yet the effect is very obvious and has positive repercussions on all the builds that can activate it.

SKILL TREE ROSSO: CHAOS ORDERED

MORE SMALL, LIGHT, FAST – 4 POINTS

A skill that boosts Gaige's top-up speed by 6%, but reduces the size of the charger by 1% per point spent. It is necessary to continue along the skill branch .

ANARCHY – 1 POINT

As mentioned in the introduction, this ability is by far the most important of Gaige , together with Close enough. it is better to activate it in any build.

CYBERPUNK PRERISTRETTA – 5 POINTS

A very good ability that increases the maximum number of Stack Anarchy accumulated. It has a very important role in certain builds, but is more negligible in others.

ROBOTIC FURY – 1 POINT

One of the best modifiers of Deathtrap , allows him to perform a rapid rotary attack with claws, inflicting enormous melee damage. Even if each lash inflicts reduced damage, the robot is able to attack up to 9 times in about 2 seconds, acquiring damage output well above its average

BLOOD SHIELD – 5 POINTS

Fundamental ability in certain builds, with positive repercussions on the character in general. Each point spent causes a kill, of Gaige or Deathtrap, to restore the shield of 20% and reduce the current health by 1%, per point spent.

At maximum level this ability instantly fills the shield , with particularly positive effects on some builds, such as those based on Bee or on the nova shields, especially the Black Hole .

IRRITATED ANDROID – 5 POINTS

An ability that is usually totally neglected, unless it is enhanced by a class mod: one Legendary Roboteer , for example, may increase by 70% the speed of movement of Deathtrap .

DISORDER – 1 POINT

One of the most important skills of Gaige , Disagreement allows you to change the way Stack Anarchy are consumed if it is recharged before having exhausted the charger: in fact, unlike normal behavior, where all groups were lost, this ability allows them to be sacrificed very slowly (1, 33 groups per second), at the same time gaining a huge bonus to accuracy, cadence of fire and a health regeneration effect, equal to 3% of maximum health per second.

By reloading early, you can interrupt Disagreement and resume the normal Anarchia stack accumulation

It is probably the most important modifier of all the Anarchy branch and cannot be ignored .

CHARACTERIZATION – 5 POINTS

By activating this ability, for each point spent you gain 6% probability that each Stack Anarchy is accumulated twice . This effect is particularly positive and has important repercussions on the character.

Some class mods enhance the ability, making them reach up to 60% of probability.

RATIONAL ANARCHIST – 1 POINT

Another very important modifier of Gaige , means that instead of accumulating the first point of anarchy, we gain instead 25. It is a very important modifier of any build, especially those strongly oriented towards the use of anarchy.

DEATH FROM THE SKY – 5 POINTS

A skill tree as Ordered Chaos is practically perfect, with every desirable skill in its build, except for Death from the Sky , Gaige's worst ability, perhaps the absolute worst skill in the game .

Each point spent in this ability allows you to sacrifice an anarchy stack number equal to the skill level, while converting those stacks into explosive damage; the effect is achieved by shooting while in flight. The flaw is that the bonus damage of this skill is absolutely atrocious , negligible in any context

In other words: not activated MAI this skill , for no reason in the world, because in addition to spending bad points, you will end up losing valuable anarchy stack.

THE N-ESIMA POTENZA – 5 POINTS

An ability that has a very important role in this branch, but of which in most of the cases it is sufficient to activate only the first level.
